Steven Johnson

Steven Johnson is the vice president for Enrollment and Student Services. In this position, Johnson leads the university’s enrollment management efforts including enrollment planning, recruitment, retention, improved graduation rates, tuition and financial aid leveraging, as well as introducing best practices in undergraduate recruiting, and graduate and nontraditional student marketing.

 

Offices reporting directly to Johnson include Admissions, Student Affairs, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Registrar, and Academic Advising.

 

Johnson has worked in the enrollment and student services profession for more than 25 years, most recently serving as the associate vice president for enrollment management at Howard University. His career in higher education also included management positions at Pace University, Davenport University and CMU, where he served as Off-Campus Programs' director of operations and professional development from 1997 to 2000.
