Mary Jane Flanagan
Executive assistant to the president of Central Michigan University since 2002, Mary Jane Flanagan oversees the president’s office staff and CMU’s director of the Office of Civil Rights and Institutional Equity. She also serves as secretary to the Board of Trustees.
Flanagan has nearly 30 years of professional experience, including 20 years of auditing expertise primarily in higher education and government. Prior to joining the president’s office, Flanagan established the Internal Audit Department at CMU and held the position of interim chief financial officer for the Charter Schools Office from 1997 to 1998.
