Summer Theatre 2014 performances scheduled in Mount Pleasant and Whitehall
University Summer Theatre

University Theatre will host its annual Summer Theatre performances in Whitehall and Mount Pleasant June 25 through July 19.

The performances include “The Smell of the Kill,” “Murder by Natural Causes” and “The Complete History of Sports (abridged).”
 

“Murder by Natural Causes”

Written by Michele Lowe and directed by Keeley Stanley-Bohn

A famous psychic tries to escape a murder plot hatched by his wife in this mystery that has twists until the last scene.

  • 7:30 p.m. June 25 and July 11, and 2 p.m. June 28 in Moore Hall’s Bush Theatre
  • 7:30 p.m. July 18 in Whitehall’s Howmet Playhouse

“Smell of the Kill”

Written by Tim Kelly and directed by Tim Connors

Three malicious wives seek revenge against their unloving husbands in this dark comedy. The performance includes strong language and adult situations.

  • 7:30 p.m. June 26 and 29, and July 10 in Moore Hall’s Bush Theatre
  • 7:30 p.m. July 17 in Whitehall’s Howmet Playhouse

“The Complete History of Sports (abridged)”  

Written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, and directed by Steve Berglund

A hilarious spoof on man's addiction to sports from the creators of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).”
