CMU appoints assistant vice president of student affairs

Steven Johnson, Central Michigan University’s vice president of enrollment and student services, has announced the appointment of Anthony Voisin as assistant vice president of student affairs. Voisin will begin his duties Oct. 1 with an annual salary of $115,000.
Voisin has been employed by CMU for more than 27 years in several positions including assistant director of residence life, director of alumni relations, assistant dean/director of student life and, most recently, interim dean of students/assistant vice president for student affairs.
“Throughout his tenure, Tony has demonstrated his commitment to providing students with the best opportunities for enhancing their college experience,” Johnson said. “He maintains excellent working relationships with various constituents across the university.”
As assistant vice president for student affairs, Tony will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Counseling Center, Office of Student Life, Leadership Institute, Volunteer Center and Student Disability Services as well as provide day-to-day guidance for Residence Life.
